Fire Damage Basement in Frankfort, MI

This fire damage basement had a very hot smoldering fire that caused a great deal of damage through out the basement.  In the before photo you can see the concrete wall covered in soot.  The blackness is the soot from the fire.  The cleaning process required the contents to be safely moved so the concrete walls could be cleaned to remove the soot.  The cleaning is a vital step in removing the soot and the odors of the fire.  After the cleaning was complete the concrete walls were then sealed.  In the after photo you can visibly see the white concrete walls.
