Flooded Kitchen in Rapid City, MI

This flooded kitchen in Rapid City, MI was the result of a plumbing failure with the dishwasher.  Often times with dishwasher malfunctions, the leak is hidden behind the dishwasher and not noticed by the homeowner until there is damage to flooring or cabinets. In this situation, the leak was slow therefore there was extensive damage to the kitchen.  This leak caused damage to the cabinets, the walls needed to be opened to remove the wet insulation, and there was damage to the flooring.  The water damaged the cabinets, walls and flooring to the extent they needed to be removed.  The after photo shows the kitchen back to it's beautiful condition for the homeowner to enjoy their cottage this summer.
